| There
are four scenic spots in Ninghai Hotspring: Wolong Vale in the center,
Fairy Vale in the northwest, Wenying Vale in the southwest, and Jinxiu
Vale in the southeast, totally occupying an area of 6.42 square kilometers.
There are three pools, 9 waterfalls, 18 brooks and 72 mountains in all.
Enter Wolong Vale, brooks are wandering in the right; on the peak, long
brooks and vales walk like a huge dragon lying, Yingtian Lake and Thousand
Steps upriver are just the head and whiskers. Therefore, it is named
Wolong Vale. There is also a fairy tale about it. A draughter of King
of Dragons had admired wonderful scenery in Ninghai for long, so one
day she left Dragon Palace without notice and came to Wolong Vale and
lived several days (several hundred years in the world). This enraged
Jade Emperor and he arranged his soldiers to arrest her. The daughter
had to throw the dragon pearl, her amulet, down the hill to express
her emotion. Suddenly, it is glinting and the firelight sank slowly.
And then hot air and water gurgled out. This is the mouth of hotspring
today. The daughter could not return Dragon Palace because of her loss
of the dragon pearl, so she lay down on the vale and never left. This
is Wolong Vale today.
Fairu tale is just fairy tale. Let's look at scenic resorts of the hotspring.
